Puppy Loves Lots of Moxie aka Moxie

Darice's family was very young when she first started Puppy Love and her kids were such an important part of loving, socializing and taking care of the puppies. Justys, her oldest daughter is all grown up now, has started a little family of her own and has tons of experience and lots of love to give. We're so lucky to have her as one of our guardian families! She says this about Moxie... She is full of energy, excitement and passion with a definite zest for life! Like her red coat would suggest, she is fiery by nature and truly has lived up to her name. She enjoys the simple things in life, like morning snuggles, playtime before bed, any toy with a squeaker in it and chasing laser pointers. She absolutely adores her people and loves to make new friends at the dog park. Since day one of her coming home, she has had a deep love for her feline brother who is a Munchkin Scottish Fold. With Moxie at around 44lbs, they are quite the pair! She loves to chase him and torment him like any younger sibling does but her favorite thing is to curl up next to him for unsolicited cuddles, which he usually tolerates, like any big brother should. LOL! She likes to be right next to him and has to touch him, whether with her paw, back, tail or nose. They are best friends! Moxie also has a couple of super cute quirks. She has an obsession with cushions! She loves to sit on them, nap on them, greet me at the door with one and no car ride would be complete without one underneath her. She also enjoys hiding her treats to save for later but is not a master hider by any means. She will "bury" her snack in the middle of the stairs, hide it in a well lit corner, under a cushion or the corner of the couch but the trickiest hiding spot of all is when she buries it under layers and layers of pure air in the middle of the floor! Despite her treat hiding skills though, Moxie is actually quite smart. She loves doing puppy puzzles and is able to learn new skills and tricks very quickly. She has been such a joy to have in our lives and she is loved beyond words!
