Puppy Loves Whistling Dixie aka Dixie

We love everything about this little girl but we are obsessed with her stunning, silky, dark red coat. She has amazing guardians, Carole and Henry who first became part of the Puppy Love team 14 years ago as guardians for Princess, another of our amazing girls. We are thrilled to be able to work with them again.

A write up for Dixie is so hard to put into words as it seems impossible to describe how wonderful this little redhead has fit into our lives but here goes... Dixie has been a wonderful addition to our family. She is a mini with a huge personality. Her hair is a dream for grooming, silky and so soft. Weighing in at 18 pounds and is the sweetest little teddy bear. Dixie likes to sit like an owl very quietly and when she is done calculating she tries to take over. She has progressed in a year from a smart curious puppy to a gentle and observant dog. She loves children and has learned to be gentle with them. She has both dog and human favorites although everyone is a potential friend. Dixie enjoys doing simple tricks and following the yard work in case she is needed. She loves truck rides and is very good with interactive games. I have never seen a puppy establish communication so quickly or calm as well. It is obvious we are Whistling Dixie fans and we think she might be an improved version of our Princess Leah, who is a Puppy Love alumni. We love Puppy Love Labradoodles!!
